About the Artist

For many years, Sydney Ross used to be an artist of the performance variety, studying dance technique and choreography for over 16 years in Pensacola, Florida. At the same time, she had an intense passion for telling stories through illustrations and characters, loving the quieter, more peaceful nature of this artistic expression. This passion grew so much that eventually she transitioned from working with pointe shoes, to pencils and paper. Sydney Ross has taken her love for illustration to the Savannah College of Art and Design, studying illustration with a concentration in concept design for animation and games. With works focusing on genres that embody whimsy and fantasy, Sydney Ross aims for her art to bring a touch of positivity and magic into people's lives.
